Terms & Conditions – SKR Driving School

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and expectations between SKR Driving School 

1. Lesson Requirements

All learners must ensure they meet the following requirements before taking lessons:

  • You must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence.

  • You must bring your licence to your first lesson.

  • You must meet the legal eyesight requirements (able to read a number plate from 20 metres).

  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you must bring them to every lesson.

If you do not meet these requirements, your lesson may be cancelled and treated as a late cancellation, resulting in loss of refund and/or a £25 fee.

2. Behaviour and Safety

For safety, learners must:

  • Follow instructor guidance during lessons.

  • Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Not behave in a way that may put the instructor, vehicle, or public at risk.

If the instructor believes you are unfit to drive or behaving dangerously, the lesson will be stopped immediately without refund.

3. Lesson Length and Pricing

  • Standard automatic lessons are 2 hours long and cost £80.

  • Pass Plus courses cost £350.

  • Prices may change, but confirmed bookings will honour the price agreed at the time of booking.

4. Payments

Payments can be made through:

  • Credit or debit card

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Cash (paid before the lesson begins)

Payments must be made before the lesson unless otherwise agreed with the instructor.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation policy applies to all bookings.

  • Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time will not receive a refund, and a £25 fee will be charged.

  • Lessons cancelled more than 24 hours before the start time qualify for a full refund.

  • Continuous or repeated cancellations, even with more than 24 hours’ notice, may result in loss of refund eligibility and may also incur a £25 fee.

  • Lessons that the instructor needs to reschedule due to emergencies or unexpected circumstances will not incur any penalty.

6. Instructor Rights

The instructor reserves the right to:

  • Decline a booking

  • Cancel a lesson for safety or personal reasons

  • Refuse to teach a learner who is unfit, unsafe, aggressive, or disrespectful

  • Rearrange lessons when necessary due to weather, vehicle issues, or emergencies

  • Approve or decline bookings submitted through the website

A reason may be provided when declining, but this is optional.

7. Learner Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information when booking

  • Arrive on time for your lesson

  • Inform the instructor of any medical conditions that may affect your driving

  • Maintain respectful communication at all times

8. Vehicle Use

All lessons are conducted in the instructor’s Lexus CT 200h. The vehicle is fully insured for driving instruction. Learners may not drive the vehicle outside of lessons without permission.

9. Liability

SKR Driving School is not liable for:

  • Test cancellations made by DVSA

  • Delays caused by traffic or road conditions

  • Personal items lost in the instructor’s vehicle

  • Damage caused by learner negligence outside of instruction time

We ensure the vehicle is in safe, roadworthy condition before every lesson.

10. Website Use & Personal Data

By using our website, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which explains how your personal information is used and protected. Any data entered into the booking system is stored securely and used only for lesson management and communication.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services means you accept any updated terms.
